Fran Fontana is an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Colorado where her practice is limited to family law. Born and raised in Evanston, Illinois, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa with a major in psychology and her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Denver, College of Law.  Ms. Fontana has been licensed to practice law since 1987. She has been of Counsel to Feingold Horton PLLC since June of 2019. Prior to that, she was the sole shareholder in the law firm of Fontana & Associates, P.C. for more than 15 years.  

Ms. Fontana is a past Chair of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association; past Chair of the Metropolitan Volunteer Lawyers Governing Board; past President of the Colorado Chapter of The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts; past President of the Colorado State Interdisciplinary Committee; past president of the Metropolitan Denver Interdisciplinary Committee; a former member of the Domestic Violence Task Force and a former member of the Supreme Court Standing Committee on Family Issues.  Ms. Fontana currently serves as a member of the Peer Professionalism Assistance Group (PPAG).
